Summary:The present research has been developed from the organizational point of view, we investigated the impact that has the degree of empowerment of the employees in the organizational commitment that they have and the manner in which the expected results are generated. The objective to be achieved is to determine the influence that empowerment performs in the organizational commitment, through bibliographical and field research that allows to establish the required variables for the study and determination of the degree of organizational commitment that the collaborators have with the company. The research method to be used will be from the focus on quantitative research of non-experimental type, also descriptive that was used the survey technique whose instrument of measurement of psychological empowerment was developed by Spreitzer based on four dimensions, in the same way we has the tool of measurement of organizational commitment proposed by Allen and Meyer established in three facets, this research allows us to measure the variables through Likert scale assessments, the data collected was in the SPSS statistical software. The study population consisted of 33 employees, 25 operators and 8 of the administrative area of INPLASTICO industry. To relate the variables we use the bivariate correlation, giving as a result of a null correlation, the most relevant results allow to affirm that there is no direct relationship between the empowerment and the Organizational Commitment, through multiple regression the data obtained reflects higher values of 0,01 to 0,05, this shows that the two variables are not related, because in the company does not fully apply the empowerment, this is handled in a limited degree in the administrative area, while the operating area have a low level of this tool. The research will generate in the INPLASTIC industry a social impact by using strategic tools such as empowerment, it is possible to achieve that the collaborators improve the levels of productivity and they are more responsible; an economic impact because it would generate productivity, thus obtaining maximization of profitability and minimization of costs. The managers of the company, need constant training in the management of the empowerment and can be multiplied to the collaborators where the success of the companies depends of the integration and participation of the collaborators, therefore it is necessary to propose improvements in staff development so that said investment generates the desired results and the company can be keep in a suitable place for its competition.
