Estrategias de evaluación

The study “Assessment Strategies” is focused on learners’ results at “Rafael Quevedo” School, the research work aims to diagnose the validity of the application of assessment strategies in order to improve the pedagogical processes within the educative community, since it has been evident that there are not adequate management about assessment strategies by the teachers which affected learners’ academic outcomes; for that reason; by means of an investigation about the application of renewing assessment strategies; it attempts to reinforce teachers knowledge in order to improve the assessment tools; and at the same time to help the teaching-learning process and students training; it is also suggested that the authorities ask teachers to perform their work efficiently because teachers have to apply the assessment process, since it is considered only to measure knowledge and grades, but it does not only have to focus on this aspect but it must be consider as a fundamental resource by teachers to obtain results and take decisions. Therefore; this project was developed under the socio-educative modality; qualitative, quantitative, explicative, documentary, bibliographic and field focus; and with the application of deductive, deductive, scientific, analytical and dialectic methods; which helped researchers to strengthen and apply the research work; hence after applying the surveys to students, teachers and parents; and the corresponding investigations, it was possible to conclude that “Assessment Strategies” are not used in the institution since the teachers are not updated and do not receive training on the curricular reforms and specially on the evaluation process in all levels.
