Determinación de los contaminantes atmosféricos emitidos en ladrilleras artesanales en la Parroquia Ignacio Flores, Cantón Latacunga, Provincia de Cotopaxi.

The present project was executed in the Ignacio Flores parish of the Latacunga canton. The measurement of the emissions of atmospheric pollutants emitted by fixed sources, such as the chimneys of handmade brick kilns, was carried out, with the purpose to identify and determine the atmospheric pollutants emitted by the same. , this researching will be useful for regulators, as well as for later updates and investigations on emissions of polluting gases at this area.In order to carry out the researching, at work with the owners of the artisan brick kilns. In which a fieldwork was carried out. The parameters monitored were carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen monoxide (NOx), sulfur dioxide (SO2), using the TESTO 350 Gas Analyzer per equipment, taking as reference Book VI, Annex 3, three measurements were made day depending on the operation of the kilns from which three representative data were obtained depending on each monitoring point. The identification of each to fixed sources was taken into account through a georeferencing that allowed obtaining the exact location of the chimneys for the determination of the study area in the Ignacio Flores parish, and each step of the monitoring chimneys at will be followed systematic and logical order.The data analysis was compared with the values allowed by current regulations. The interpretation is very important for making technical decisions and to provide possible solutions for environmental problems by reducing the damage caused by the population at Ignacio Flores Parish.
