Čoahkkáigeassu:The investigation diagnoses the situation regarding the use of TICs in the teaching and learning of Natural Sciences in the eighth year of Basic Education "Federación Deportiva de Cotopaxi" School. For which a descriptive field research mode was designed to gather the necessary information using the survey technique of teachers and students of the institution. Through research it was determined that the interactive whiteboard is not used in the educational processes of learning of Natural Science, which demonstrates that the institution has not been integrated into the educational model based on the appropriate use of new Information Technology and Communication. For this reason, it was proposed as an alternative solution to promote the appropriate use of the touch board as new tool in the learning of Natural Sciences in the eighth year of basic education, improving teaching skills of teachers and the quality of learning of learners.
