| Sažetak: | The research was developed at the “Sacha Wiwa” Experimental Center, Guasaganda parish, La Maná canton, Cotopaxi province. The following objective was set: To evaluate the agronomic efficiency and yield of national cacao (Theobroma cacao L.) due to the omission of macronutrients. A completely randomized block design was used with a 3 x 5 factorial arrangement, where A are the cocoa clones (EET-103; EET-544 and EET-62) and B are the omissions of macronutrients with a total of 15 treatments and four repetitions, so conforming a total of 60 experimental units. The following variables were evaluated in the project: record of healthy and diseased ears, disease incidence, ear length, ear diameter, dry weight of 100 seeds, weight of fresh grain/tree (kg), yield (kg/ha), and agronomic efficiency. The obtained results demonstrated that without the presence of macronutrient omission, the cocoa crop can be considerably affected. Consequently, its yield is reduced regardless of the clones used, so demonstrating that they are essential to obtain positive effects in the cocoa crop. |
