| Περίληψη: | The current research project was carried out in the Pujilí Canton, Cotopaxi province, in La Recta de Velez sector, to evaluate the effect of four different organic biostimulants on the growth and production of the jalapeño pepper crop (Capsicum annuum var. anuum). It is made up of five treatments and 4 repetitions, with a total of twenty experimental units, the statistical analysis was based on the Tukey test at 5% probability, and the INFOSTAT 2022 application software was used. The biostimulants applied were humic acids, fulvic acids, marine algae, and amino acids, for its application 3-liter pumps were used, in terms of the doses used, these were specified through the recommendation of the product's technical data sheet. Regarding the variables evaluated, they were: plant height, and number of leaves at 15, 30, 45, and 60 days; At harvest time the following aspects were evaluated: the total number of fruits per treatment, fruit length, fruit diameter, and total fruit weight per treatment. The following results were obtained: the amino acid treatment obtained a higher production yield of the jalapeño pepper crop around the application of organic biostimulants, obtaining 42.96 cm in plant height, 12.71 number of leaves, 2.47 cm fruit diameter, 9.27 cm long fruit, 85.38 g fruit weight, 10.17 number of harvested fruits and 64148.15 kg/ha of yield. An economic cost analysis was carried out in which the amino acid treatment was obtained as the best treatment with an investment cost of $22.40 with a profit of $43.30, which represents a net benefit of $20.90 which generates a profitability of 93% |
