The proposed scheme provides all preventive measures to be developed to avoid such incidents.El presente trabajo de investigación, se fundamenta en el estudio de la carga combustible y su incidencia en los riesgos de incendio en la Unidad Educativa Rumiñahui de Ambato, se inicia con la elaboración del diagnóstico de la institución, ubicación de los recursos existentes, inventario, continuando con el análisis y cuantificación de la carga combustible en las instalaciones del centro educativo, además de la carga combustible que aportan todos los árboles existentes en el establecimiento, para completar el estudio se procede a analizar el riesgo de incendio para lo cual se utiliza el método Meseri. La hipótesis que se prueba en este trabajo es ¿La cantidad de carga combustible en la Unidad Educativa Rumiñahui de Ambato conlleva riesgo de incendio?
