Resumo:The dairy company "FRILAC" has developed during its years of business life the production of cheese, pasteurized milk and milk cream manually, with the desire to achieve a better quality of its product, in accordance with technological advances and the current modernization arises the need for the development of industry 4.0 technology in production lines. Through the investigation and the obtaining of internal and external data of the company, the problems that the process has were determined, all the points of the stages were analyzed in order to know what is the degree of digital maturity in which it is located. , was achieved through an analysis of the maturity of the company and proposed industry 4.0 tools that can be applied. Carrying out a training plan so that internal clients have a relationship on the subject and through an action plan it was possible for a team to be in harmony with the environment of the plant and have an easy handling for the operator, as well as applying the same tools in the production stages that are carried out without the need for an operator, allows a substantial improvement in the production and in the quality of the product due to the standardization of the quality of the product. The proposal for the implementation of industry 4.0 in the company marks a local innovation in the production method, allowing us to be pioneers in the improvement of production processes in cheese production companies.
