| Summary: | In the present thesis work, it provides a solution to the prediction of short-term electrical demand for block "B" of the Technical University of Cotopaxi based on the use of artificial neural networks, taking into account that said prediction has been a phenomenon capable of generating curiosity in human beings, however, to achieve a projection of a future event, a detailed data analysis is required to predict subsequent events, with a programming algorithm, with this idea and based on this premise the main objective of the investigation was to develop a computing tool capable of carrying out this activity from a database, which were compiled by means of a Fluke 435 network analyzer connected to the main distribution board in charge of feeding the loads of block "B" said equipment remained connected for a considerable period of time that includes the months of June, July, August, September, October, November and December of the year 2022, we proceeded to filter the data obtained to use only those that contain values of electricity consumption, the input variables were considered, which are: days, electrical energy (Wh), to elaborate the different case studies with different conditions with the purpose of reaching a successful model of the neural network. |
