Beskrivelse
Summary:The purpose of this research work was to carry out an inventory control which allowed to know the situation of the hardware store. As a proposal, a manual of functions and procedures that allows the hardware store to maintain its position in the market was designed. It improves competitiveness through perfect management of internal assets. The job of leadership is to take the path, organize the plans, plan the ideas. A hardware store is focused on competitiveness, stability, and profitability. The hardware store "Real" is located in Cotopaxi province, La Maná canton. It is dedicated to the purchase and sale of construction materials and stuff in general. Its clients are bricklayers, architects, doctors, police officers, and residents of the canton. It presents shortcoming in relation to the inventory control and lack of knowledge of the staff. The research methodology is based on the collection of information and the applied methods are: the deductive and inductive methods, the instrument of the interview directed to the owner, and the survey applied to the employees. These instruments allowed obtaining information through the hardware store staff formed by three people who collaborate in the hardware store, so resulting in a confidence level of 90%, with a rating of forty-five, while a control risk level of 10% with a difference of five. A structural flowchart was established in the manual of procedures for the area of purchases, sales, and inventory to facilitate the activities for the employees.
