Tóm tắt:The present research work has been elaborated with the purpose to determine the relationship between the concrete didactic material elaborated and the mathematical reasoning development in the basic operations solution. It provided positive evidence into the understanding processes’ results of basic operations solution. The quantitative approach was applied, within the positivist paradigm, therefore, the purpose was to test the theories found in the place where the research was applied. The project was feasible thanks to the existence of bibliographic information, extracted from various research papers. In the problem statement, the need to improve the logic and mathematical thinking development in children by understanding the processes and solving basic operations is described in detail, improving the educational process through a proposal based on a specific objective. It began with the perceptual level because it favored exploring and describing everything that is required about the development of logical-mathematical reasoning in the teaching-learning process of basic operations. Likewise, it was apprehensive since it allowed us to compare and analyze the results obtained in this investigation. The sympathetic type, since he will reveal everything that was discovered in his investigation. Descriptive because it was oriented to the progressive differences of the students. The deductive method was applied based on the observation of the problem, the little development of logical-mathematical reasoning in the solution of basic operations, followed by the problem: How does the innovative teaching resource for basic operations in mathematics contribute to the learning process of the fifth-year students of Basic Education of the Educational Unit "Mariscal Antonio José de Sucre" in Saquisilí Canton, Cotopaxi Province, school year 2022-2023? As a deduction, the given results of the empirical methods applied to the study unit were taken into account and finally the proposal was used as an alternative solution to the little development of logical-mathematical reasoning.
