Riassunto:The Pristimantis unistrigatus frog has been studied in different aspects of its reproductive cycle in semi captivity, that is to say in external cages where the frogs were developed in a limited area with all the needed conditions to their survival and with a controlled environment quite similar to the natural one. The direct observation tech ni was used to get a documentary record of all the activity related to the cycle of reproduction of the amphibious studied with a daily analysis of the activities the frog itself does during the courtship, amplexus and the incubation period, without the necessity of any intervention. It was also observed the behavior during the day time, where, most of the time they were hidden among the plants, dry leaves, roots, land; during the evening the activity increased and in rainy seasons the increase of the activity was obviously significant consequently with the onset of the reproductive period, so it was evident that the courtship that starts with the singing of the male frog determines the females interest for the couple already chosen, so that through the amplexus when the male holds the female the eggs were fertilized. Those eggs are buried in damp area to avoid the dehydration. This research was done in Salache academic experimental Center (SAEC)....
