Optimización de los procesos en la elaboración de moldes para la fundición de piezas en la empresa Fundi Laser.

The company Fundi Laser has more than 40 years of experience at smelting process, dedicated to sewer covers production, underground networks among other cast iron products, located at Pan-American North Km 4 ½ and av. Indoamerica, Izamba Parish, Ambato Canton, Tungurahua Province. On modeling process, unproductive times were evidenced which limits the production capacity and delays with work orders, in addition machinery deficiency affects normal activities execution, so an analysis of the current process was carried out identifying different activities that lead to create a model in order to improve productivity, there a study of times and movements were carried out, finding activities with unnecessary transport and delays, with new machine implementation the unproductive times were eliminated, to later determine The standard time of different models. Achieving a decrease on modeling times of C400 round cap at 37 min, C400 round fence to 20 min, 70x70 square cap to 34 min, 70x70 square fence to 23 min and drinking water valves to 42 min per cycle since, with these optimized times, labor was efficiency increased and therefore the productivity of the modeling area by 30% which represents a saving of $ 2,407.20 per month in the cost of labor, thus reduced modeling cost. According to the obtained results, it was argued that this type of research helps to the continuous improvement of the company taking care of its image and being highly relevant to the competition.
