Afegir etiqueta | Sumari: | The Langoa paramo is being subjected to environmental, social, economic, and cultural problems, this project seeks to determine a system of environmental sustainability indicators forthe conservation ofthe paramo within the Novillopungo project through the characterization of the study area and the proposal of strategiesand plans to improve the present problems. The inductive deductive method was used to implement the research ideas and the Pressure, State, and Response (PER) model, likewise within the research techniques is direct observation, surveys, and bibliographic review that helped to select the different environmental topics, describe anthropogenic activities and evaluate the current situation of natural resources and the environment. To respond to the research topic, a field visit was made, during which the problems caused by human activities practiced in the paramo, such as agriculture, livestock, and tourism, were identified through the application of surveys to 30 members of the San Miguelito de Langoa Cattlemen'sAssociation. In 19 economic indicators, 11 social indicators, 25 environmental indicators, and 5 political indicators were obtained, which led to the development of strategies to achieve ecosystem balance through environmental and economic analysis, their contribution to the planning and implementation of future activities as part of a sustainable development approach was evaluated. In addition, strategiesand activities were developed that allowed solutions to the problems identified in the study area, considering the positive and negative impacts that are being generated in the Langoa paramo. |
