Резюме:This research aimed to give a solution to one of the main problems of the milk producers, the pollutant effect of its effluents is the result of the water pollution due to the spill of raw material, in the cleaning of the process equipment (tanks, pasteurizers, rennet tubs, etc.), in the washing of surfaces (floors and walls) and in the discharge of exhausted brines, the same that have a salt concentration superior to 5% (NaCl) dissolved. The sewage water which was generated in the dairy industry present pollution mainly of organic character COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) and BOD (Biological Oxygen Demand), with an elevated concentration of fats, nitrogen and phosphorus. Although the average BOD might be around 3,000-4,000 mg O2 / L, the spills show an elevated variability; both in the flow as in the composition. It depends fundamentally on the process that the sewage water generates and in the product that is prepared. Thus, the generated serum during the cheeses elaboration has a BOD of the order of 40,000-50,000 mg O2 / L milligrams of diatomic oxygen per liter Currently, the Pastolac dairy industry has found as routes of vent the use of the sewerage to eliminate the sewage water that is produced during the manipulation of raw material until turning it into the final product, the same that ends in rivers adjacent to the sector or through irrigation channels that pass beside to this industry producing problem to the users, it due to the bad smells that affect the health, what is intended to achieve with this research project is to give an alternative to give a solution to the previously mentioned problems through the implementation of a sewage water treatment system to reduce the environmental impact.
