Actividades de ocio y recreación del turista de la provincia de Tungurahua antes y después del confinamiento

This research work focused on the assessment and analysis from tourists leisure and recreation activities, who visit the Tungurahua province before and after confinement, caused by COVID 19 with the aim by understanding the evolution their behavior in different contexts, for getting the desired results, it is a longitudinal study with a quantitative approach, and relational scope, with the 385 surveys execution into nine tourist places from Tungurahua province, same which were carried out, through a non-pro babilistic sampling, due to the tourist attractions wide number. The collected data covers four variables, what were: leisure and recreation activities, frequency, travel companions and expenses. they were performed a Wilcoxon statistical test for analyzingg the data, and were identified a significant change in tourist behavior before and after lockdown. The results based on the 4 variables analysis reflected the change, which was given in the activities during the confinement period, with 19%, it correspond s to the social networks use, what they performed in their vast majority of families, who kept in contact due to the restrictions by not being able to leave home; while with 6% or less, people were made activities, such as games their homes, relaxation pro grams and reading books.
