Description
Summary:This technical proposal is focused on the repowering of the equipment and elements used in the air conditioning module belonging to the laboratory of the Electromechanical Engineering Degree in the subject of refrigeration and air conditioning, aiming at the quality, efficiency, and control of each of the elements, allowing students to perform practices that complement the theory and exercises reviewed in the classroom. The module incorporates mechanical elements such as Compressor, Condenser, Evaporator, Pressure gauges, and Expansion Valve. These elements form the refrigeration cycle by vapor compression, where the refrigerant is condensed and evaporated alternately and then compressed in the vapor phase. It incorporates electrical and electronic elements such as PLC S7-1200, HMI screen, Thermostats, Relays, Contactor and Motor, these used as control and temperature measurement, for the verification of system operation, all these equipment and elements together form the refrigeration system by vapor compression of refrigerant R-134ª, allowing to determine the thermodynamic parameters of the system. A practical guide is developed to determine the coefficient of performance (COP) of the system as well as rejected heat (QL) and network input (Wneto, input), so students can interact with the module obtaining experience and practice related to the subject of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
