Тойм:The research was carried out in an intelligent greenhouse located on the premises of the CAREN School, Canton Latacunga, Province of Cotopaxi, to evaluate the effect of applying of the lupine alkaloid for the control of Ascochyta (Phoma exigua) in different concentrations. The fungus was collected in the field in an infected pea crop in the Cunchibamba parish. A Random Complete Blocks (DBCA) design was implemented with six treatments and three replications, giving eighteen experimental units with 20 plants per treatment. The statistical analyzes of the data were carried out using the Infostat (IS) statistical software program. For the effect of the variable “severity” of ascochyta, the analysis of variance (ADEVA) was carried out. The results of severity in percentages were as follows, as in treatment 4 (80 ml of lupine water), a more significant decrease in severity was recorded with 26.34%, followed by treatment 1 (5g: 60ml), the following data was obtained which is 23.33% mortality. In turn, growth in height and diameter of the stems could be evidenced in the same treatments mentioned, as it can be seen that similar results were found in which it is proposed that treatment 4 (80 ml lupine water) and treatment 1 (5g: 60ml) can be used in the same way. Both treatments, 4 (80 ml of lupine water) and 1 (5g: 60ml), were efficient in controlling Ascochyta and in physiological growth of the plant, both treatments being a natural and environmentally friendly control alternative.
