Summary:The following research look for the determination of serum values and factors associated with domestic dogs (canis familiaris) in the Cuilche Miño neighborhood, in San Juan de Pastocalle parish in cantón Latacunga, Cotopaxi province. Through a laboratory analysis and clinical record, establishing the following variables as: range age from 0 to 11 months, 1 to 5 years and orders than 5 years in order to stablish the prevalence of infectious and parasitic diseases. Moreover, a survey is carried out to the dog’s owners (canis familiaris), through a laboratory analysis is possible to count the number of leukocytes, erythrocytes, urea, creatinine, glucose ALT, AST in domestic dogs (canis familiaris) within the variables mentioned. After that, the results were showed once underwent to the laboratory analysis canis familiaris. It gets as result the flowing: Within the range of 0-12 they have decreased hematocrits being 5%. On the other hand, in the range of 1 - 5 years, 9 have high hematocrits giving a result of 22.5%, similarly there is a decrease of hematocrits of 3% in 1 canine. In the range of older than 5 years, there are 5 who have high hematocrits being 36%. Later on, it was visible that 1 canine has decreased hematocrits being 1 %. The results gathered in the survey were compared with laboratory analysis where it was verified that canines that have hematocrit leukocytes, erythrocytes, urea, creatinine, glucose, ALT, AST, increased and deceased are the animals whom share their living with farm animals as (sheep, swine, cattle, horses), especially when animals do not drink pure water, they do not have neither vaccination nor deworming. They feed themselves 3 times per week, in some cases those animals eat the wastes of other animals, all this was found in each analysis presented within the present study.
