Manejo de los canales de la comunicación interna dentro del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipal Intercultural del Cantón Saquisilí

This research reveals the reality of internal communication channels that are used most frequently in the Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipal Intercultural belong to Saquisilí Canton (GADMIC-S). According to the analysis, WhatsApp, Facebook and email occupy the first place, being the communication tools managed by most public authorities and public employee, because it communicates rapidly. Then, the less frequently used media are telephone calls and written communications, since these media are more formal, and open up requests, requirements, etc. The research was applied using a qualitative type with a descriptive and analytical method, to determine the reality of the communicative situation. This research applied some tools such as surveys, interviews and direct observations, directed to the departmental heads of the different departments at the Municipality of Saquisilí, and to the employees who work in the public institution. Consequently, it is expected that the recommendations of this research can be included to optimize the internal communication process, which is developed in the GADMIC-S, such as periodic reviews about how communication channels are being executed and managed , emphasize in structuring a more formal medium and also create closed WhatsApp groups in each departments so that, there will be a better internal organization, in order to provide better communication and attention to the citizens from Saquisilí.
