| Izvleček: | The presence in urban areas of coal burners that do not have furnaces with adequate infrastructure, generates gases and fine particles (also known as particle pollution, particulate matter or PM) to the environment. The objective of this research was to evaluate air quality and distribution of produced emissions in artisan ovens for coal elaboration in "San Juan de Bellavista" neighborhood. Began with characterization of study area where 3 sampling points were established, it is very important to emphasize that technology (E-BAM equipment) played a key role in measuring of particulate material concentration PM_10 and PM_2.5 for 24 hours, applying the automatic method, samples were recorded every 10 minutes with a real-time data during 6 days in October 2021. The applied methodology at this research was descriptive, analytical and field. To perform the analysis, these data were exported with COMET software helping. The average data for PM_10 in points P1, P4 and P6 were 40.8; 110.42 and 113.33 µg/mᶾ and for PM_2.5 points P1, P4 and P6 with 38; 58.33 and 119.17 µg/mᶾ, which were compared with Current Regulations of Ministerial Agreement 097-A from Unified Text Reform of Secondary Legislation Environment Ministry (TULSMA) Book VI Annex 4, which indicates the maximum permissible limits for PM_10 which is 100 µg/mᶾ and PM_2.5 which is 50 µg/mᶾ. These results represent an alert for authorities and population, based on this, it is concluded that contamination by particulate matter is a problem that affects environment and people health, therefore, 3 mitigation strategies were established at coal elaboration, this order to control environmental problem so in the future there will be no high concentrations of air pollutant. |
