Tilføj Tag | Summary: | The purpose of the study was to use a geloide based on apitoxine as a treatment in the surface of the bacterial dermatitis localized in domestic dogs. 20 dogs (females) from 2 to 5 years old, from different races, which were randomly divided into treatment were handled. The treatment of Apitoxine gel with 0.8 % of concentration was to apply 0.1 ml gel of apitoxine by 1 cm of diameter in the injury once a day for 15 days, each patient topically, bacterial growth was assessed through culture and sensitivity on days 1, 7 and 14 during the treatment. The treatment (antibiotic + antihistamine) consisted of subjecting animals to established protocol at the clinic, cephalexin 22 mg / kg . every 12 hours for 15 days and cetirizine 10 mg . 1 tablet every 10kg. every 12h for 10 days , each patient orally , bacterial growth was evaluated by culture and sensitivity on days 1 , 7 and 14 of treatment…. |
