| Sumari: | This research is to improve the learning of the kids in the fourth and fifth grades of Basic Education of the Educational “Narciso Cerda Maldonado”, school year 2016 – 2017, through the application of methodology strategies to strengthen the process of reading and writing. The problem hasbeen detected, we proceed to the construction of the technical scientific basis to consolidate the variables of research such as dyslexia and learning, we discover it that dyslexia appears from childhood and can persist until adult life caused by a biological cause that has nothing to do with the intelligence of the person, ie that having dyslexia is not synonymous with lack of intelligence, however with help, the person acquires the alphabetic codes to improve academic performance; these arguments were based on information collected from books, magazines and the Internet. The applied research methodology was field research, bibliographic, descriptive and exploratory based on a qualitative and quantitative study, applied tools for the processing and compilation of information through surveys aimed at parents, teachers of degree and a test to students, proceeding to statistically analyze the data obtained and these allowed to establish the existence of difficulties in reading and writing in learning for children. In order to contribute and improve learning, both a didactic guide was elaborated that contemplates diverse innovative exercises, and implementation of curricular adaptations in planning by skills and performance criteria that aimed to strengthen the methodology of the teachers who are teaching in fourth and fifth grades of Basic Education for the improvement of the learning of the students of the Institution and serving as a reference to the other educational institutions of the canton. |
