| Резюме: | This project will identify areas with optimal edaphoclimatic conditions for potato (Solanum Tuberosum) and Corn (Zea mays) crops in Mulalillo parish, considering variables such as temperature, precipitation, slope, soil texture, pH, and suitable conditions for aforementioned crops development. In turn, cartographic models were elaborated according to these crops needs with WorldClim data in ARC GIS version 10.3 software. This research will also offer sufficient information on edaphological and climatological requirements to help to the correct agricultural performance based on soil-plant-water relationship. Once the data had been analyzed, two maps of areas suitable for crops were obtained. It is concluded that by studying the established variables that 0.10% equivalent to 4.40 ha of this parish are suitable for potatoes growing (solanum tuberosum), and 43.49% for corn (zea mays). which corresponds to 1794.41ha. Regarding the Isotherms of Mulalillo parish, it ranges from 6 ° C to 15 ° C, in turn it was determined that the Isohyets range from 392 mm to 802 mm per year, with differences between the analyzes of 75mm to 106mm at obtained data. |
