description A SCADA development interface was the objective of this project applied to the remote local control and monitoring of an industrial stepper motor by means of a programmable logic controller (PLC), considering the interconnection infrastructure of the electronic equipment involved in its construction. The methodology applied is based on a deductive approach. It begins with bibliographic research on topics related to the SCADA system, integrating key elements such as the INVT PLC, Wecon HMI, TB6600 stepper motor driver and NEMA 23 stepper motor. This integration is done taking into account crucial parameters such as the positioning, speed and direction of the stepper motor. In terms of communication, priority is given to the use of the ISO 4842 standard. For this purpose, the Modbus RTU protocol according to the RS-232 standard for SCADA communication is used. With the purpose of transmitting and receiving the data through KEPServerEX (OPC UA) software and at the same time this system is connected to Node-RED, a visual programming tool that facilitates the work in the SCADA, they consider the ISA101 standard. In the analysis and results, the experimental methodology involved in the design and configuration of the SCADA system was used. The results are based on two experimental phases: the first using a smartphone connected to Wi-Fi and the second using a PC remotely locally. During the experimental phase with the smartphone, a communication time of 350.5 milliseconds is observed, while on the laptop it is 235 milliseconds with Wi-Fi connectivity. This analysis reveals that the PC provides a superior communication response. In addition, it is concluded that connectivity in a laptop would be improved by an Ethernet cable, significantly increasing the time in communication.

La metodología aplicada se basa en un enfoque deductivo. Inicia con una investigación bibliográfica de temas relacionado al sistema SCADA, integrado elementos claves como el PLC INVT, HMI Wecon, driver motor paso a paso TB6600 y motor paso a paso NEMA 23. Esta integración se realiza teniendo en cuenta parámetros cruciales como el posicionamiento, velocidad y dirección del motor paso a paso. En cuanto a la comunicación, se da prioridad al uso de la norma ISO 4842. Para ello se emplea el protocolo Modbus RTU según el estándar RS-232 para la comunicación SCADA. Con el propósito de transmite y recepta los datos atreves software KEPServerEX (OPC UA) y a la misma vez este sistema está conectado con Node-RED, una herramienta de programación visual que facilita el trabajo en el SCADA, consideran la norma ISA101. En el análisis y resultados se usó la metodología experimental que implica el diseño y la configuración del sistema SCADA. Los resultados se basan en dos fases experimentales: la primera utilizando un Smartphone conectado al Wi-Fi y la segunda una PC de forma remota local. Durante la fase experimental con el Smartphone, se observa un tiempo de comunicación de 350,5 milisegundos, mientras que en la computadora portátil es de 235 milisegundos con conectividad Wi-Fi. Este análisis revela que el PC proporciona una respuesta de comunicación superior.
