Summary:Education is in a constant process of modernization in this regard is a priority to seek alternatives for change and transformation by implementing technology, new strategies and the unavoidable use of teaching resources, in this virtue this research is considered important to incorporate the design a training workshop for teachers. The contents of this proposal include special features inclined in the professional improvement in the didactic and pedagogical environment of the student's teacher and academic, aspects that make the process of teaching and learning viable, in which it is intended to show that currently the student not only learn by listening, handling texts, the source of meaningful learning is through the technical management of teaching resources. The objective is to determine the importance of developing educational resources in aesthetic education, through training teachers through workshops, to improve the teaching-learning process of students of the sixth year of Basic Education parallel to the Educational Unit "Alfonso Rumazo González "; The theoretical foundations of the research are based on the constructivist theory, being a descriptive research; the research design is bibliographic and of observational record; the survey that was conducted was directed to the teachers, parents and students whose results were tabulated in an adequate manner; the analysis of the results showed the lack of use of didactic resources have an unfavorable impact on the students' educational process. It is interesting to contribute with this valuable, significant and motivating curricular document synthesized in the educational reality, with projections based on the development of basic skills.
