Manual de Crioconservación de Semen de Mamíferos Domésticos en el Laboratorio de Biotecnología de Reproducción de la Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi” 2013.

The manual of cryopreservation of semen of domestic animals has a lot of importance since it is considered as a consultation document to contain information and activities that should be carried out in this process. It is a tool of easy modification according to the growth and to the new operation ways, as well as the changes that are given in this study area. The main objective of the elaboration of the manual of cryopreservation of semen of the domestic animals is to strengthen the knowledge since it constitutes a guide for the students of the Veterinary Medicine Career in the development of the practices inside the Laboratory of Reproduction and the correct use of the equipment. The first chapter contains the introduction, the literature review on the elaboration of the manual. The second chapter explains the methodology used for the development of the manual, the place where it will be used, the necessary resources and the questions guidelines. The third chapter is the manual which consists of the equipment that will be used for the realization of the diverse practices on the cryopreservation of semen in the different species, fulfilling the necessary requirements and the organization settled down by the University and the Veterinary Medicine Career.
