The objective of this investigation was to evaluate the effect of the achira “C indica” in the removal of nitrates NO-3, phosphates PO.4 in Cutuchi River. For this reason, an island of 0.60 cm2 was installed in a 115-liter body of water. (Treatment 1) three repetitions and one witness. The equations of the parameters removed, were every 21 days; as as the development of the plant for four months. The percentages of removal were 54,11% of nitrates,56.22% phosphates The system with the Canna indica constitutes an alternative to improve water quality. |
