| Čoahkkáigeassu: | The objective of this research was to investigate the use of signs as safety standards for the correct use of Teacher Practice Laboratory for Basic Education Major. The main reason was in which way the use of signs as safety standards influences in the teacher practice laboratory for Basic Education Major of Administrative and Humanities Sciences Academic Unit at Technical University of Cotopaxi in the academic year 2011 – 2012. The methodology used was the application of surveys supervised at collecting the opinions of teachers and students in the seventh cycle of Basic Education Major as field research. The results were tabulated, analysis and interpretation with its corresponding graphical representation. The conclusions were the lack of signs and safety standards in the teacher practice laboratory hampers the use of materials, technology and digital resources to perform well academically. The contribution of this research is to design a system of signs in the Teacher Practice Laboratory for Basic Education Major to optimize mobility and easy access to the services required by students. |
