Riassunto:Refrigeration as a method is based on the transfer of heat from a hotter body or substance to a less hot one, keeping it at a low temperature, even lower than the ambient temperature. This idea is taught in the subject of air conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation of the electromechanical engineering course in a theoretical way without being carried out in practice. For this reason, the objective of this project is the implementation of a didactic module of a refrigeration system for Universidad Técnica del Cotopaxi Extensión La Maná. Taking into account as a frame of reference the thermodynamic processes of heat transfer, the inverted Carnot cycle, its relations and dependencies. Methodologically, it is based on a punctual and extensive bibliographic review, as well as being descriptive and correlational. Therefore, the design and construction of a didactic refrigeration module is carried out, allowing the basic components of the domestic refrigeration system, tools, refrigerants and regulations for use to be exhibited. This allows us to conclude that with this didactic refrigeration module, students have the possibility to carry out practices for the description and interpretation of the theory learnt in the classroom and put into practice in the laboratory, as well as the functioning and operation of the equipment, as they can manipulate each of the elements of the refrigeration circuit.
