| Özet: | This study had the objective of determining the level of presence of multiple intelligences in the students of Middle Basic Education of the School “Guaranda”, cantón Pujilí, province of Cotopaxi, academic period 2020-2021, for this purpose, the various approaches were analyzed theoretical related to multiple intelligences, the intelligences that predominate in students were identified and a proposal was designed to strengthen them. The methodology was framed in the paradigm of quantitative research, descriptive level and quasi-experimental design. The Walter Mackenzie Multiple Intelligences Questionnaire for Primary was applied in 1999 and adapted by Martín Lobo in 2011, with the participation of three teachers and thirty-nine students in the fifth, sixth and seventh years of basic education of the institution participated in the research. The results indicated that the predominant intelligences among the students are the body kinetic and interpersonal and those that less prevail are the logical-mathematical and intrapersonal. Teachers did not know teaching strategies based on this theory to develop each of the intelligences. A didactic guide was generated to promote the development of multiple intelligences in students and after its implementation it was found that motivation, their participation in the educational process, their self-esteem and academic performance improved, which benefited their integral development. |
