This control system allowed the drying to be carried out in the shortest possible time, so that the project directly benefits small producers, especially in the economic part, minimizing labor costs and thus allowing the drying to be perform efficiently. Finally, it was obtained as a result that the cocoa started with a humidity of 70.13% at a temperature of 20°C, by means of the control the temperature was raised to 60°C, which is the ideal temperature according to the INEN NTE176 standard, in three hours and fifteen minutes, the cocoa bean was dried and reached an ideal final humidity of 7%. |

Finally, it was obtained as a result that the cocoa started with a humidity of 70.13% at a temperature of 20°C, by means of the control the temperature was raised to 60°C, which is the ideal temperature according to the INEN NTE176 standard, in three hours and fifteen minutes, the cocoa bean was dried and reached an ideal final humidity of 7%.La presente propuesta tecnológica pretende implementar un sistema de control en un secador cilíndrico de cacao, el propósito principal es conseguir datos de los factores que están involucrados en el sistema para lo cual se utilizó sensores que permitió recolectar la información correcta del proceso, realizando así una recopilación de datos en la nube es decir que permitió ser fuente de información para múltiples estudios que se pretenden efectuar en lo posterior, con el propósito de investigar las diferentes formas del secado de cacao de manera que se cumplan los requerimientos del producto a ser procesado. Este sistema de control permitió que el secado se efectúe en el menor tiempo posible, con el fin que el proyecto beneficie directamente a los pequeños productores, sobre todo en la parte económica minimizando costos en la mano de obra y así permitiendo que el secado se realice de manera eficiente.
