Due to the manual development the company has had, it has been possible to implement a logical device (PLC – Logo) to collect chronological data and carry out preventive maintenance according to the machine manual. In order to develop the research, data was gathered through the observation method and the interaction with the staff. Indeed, the head of the workshop argued lubrication maintenance of the machines was performed once a year and not after 500 hours of use, as indicated in the manual of the grinding machines. |
