总结:The project was carried out to characterize the agro-productive systems at Canchagua Community of Saquisili Canton, Province of Cotopaxi. The objective of this research was: to characterize the family composition and tendency land on the community, to determine the production systems of the community and suggest agro-productive alternatives to improve production systems. The experimental design was none-experimental, but a bibliographic documentary. The research method was the descriptive and hypothetical-deductive method; a survey was the study technique. The criteria used to elaborate the survey were soils, land use, water irrigation availability, seeds, biodiversity, technological processes, productivity, crop distribution, agronomic management and local identity. The data analysis was collected from 67 families of Canchagua community. The data from the family composition obtained to determine that the community is comprised mostly for two members (chief/wife) with 35.8%, the data collected from land tendency shown greater tendency 97 %, it means that 97% of the population owned the land. Data collected on productive systems of the zone revealed that 14.9% of production is for family self-consumption, 44.8% for marketing and 40.3% legacy. Information on agricultural technology shows that soil preparation is done only by a tractor. Therefore, the proposed alternatives to improve the production system are; to encourage to farmers to produce Andean grains, to improve water irrigation distribution, to encourages full implementation of crop rotation, to implement seed exchange
