总结:The purpose of this research project is to analyze the information management of the Teleamazonas channel during the social mobilizations of September 30th, 2010, 30S, throughout an examination of the events that were mainly held in Quito city during the protest of the National Police. The methodological strategy implemented in the project had a qualitative approach, so that the information programming of the 30S, was examined by means of applying an observation form and specialized interviews to journalists who are expert at government communication subjects. The main findings determine that while on the streets there was tension in the protest, the studied TV channel transmitted the normal programming and sporadic departures on a regular basis. In addition, they joined the national transmission decreed by the government. At the end, the analysts agreed that both media and journalists were persecuted, and some of them even lost their jobs. Since the facts of the 30S, the investigation shows that 10 years after, the role faced by the media during times of crisis in Ecuador, is still unclear. There are protocols but there are still gaps as the contradiction between what the journalist wants to do and what the media asks for, all this mediated by a government that looks at the media as mere spokespeople.
