Summary:Nowaday, we live in a globalized world and with an increasingly wide interest to keep the information organized, controlled and secure; there is a large number of technological tools at the service of all types of organizations to fulfill this interest. This proposal has as its basis for its development the Information Technology Services Management, which is technically known as ITSM, the same that for its correct application makes necessary the intervention of 3 very important elements that are: people, processes and technologies; taking into account that the objective of the ITSM is the design, delivery, management and improvement in which IT is used within an organization. This project refers to a “work methodology” which consists of a tool to define the guidelines and procedures of the LDS, helping to optimize its resources, improving the quality of work in it. As an initial stage, an analysis of the human resources, the physical and technological infrastructure of the Software Development Laboratory will be carried out; Second stage, once the requirements have been raised, the analysis and development of the methodology is carried out, in the third phase, the evaluations of the methodology are carried out through user satisfaction surveys to determine the acceptance or not of the methodology by of the educational community of the UTC-La Maná, especially those who use the technological services of the LDS. Part of the success of the application of the methodology depends on the collaboration of the person in charge of the Software Development Laboratory, because he is the one who is in direct contact with the users every day and is aware of the needs. It is also who should maintain the computer equipment.
