Descripció
Sumari:Pollinating insects are at risk of extinction due to a lack of knowledge about their role in crops and the use of chemical products. This study was carried out with the objective of characterizing pollinating insects, knowing their abundance, dominance and diversity in organic and conventional lupine (Lupinus mutabilis Sweet) crops in the Province of Cotopaxi, parishes: Aláquez, Cusubamba, Guaytacama, Cuturiví and Juan Montalvo. During the flowering season, chromatic traps (yellow plates) were placed with soap and water to capture pollinating insects and their characterization was carried out with the help of the iNaturalist application.
