Lisää tagi | Yhteenveto: | The main purpose of this study was to assess the adherence to environmental standards at “Flores Santa Mónica Ñanta Cia. Ltda.” This Company has not been subject to an environmental impact assessment. Therefore, the poor waste management provokes a negative environmental impact. Research techniques such as interview, survey, and observation were implemented in order to obtain accurate information about the real situation within the company. This study shows that the company does not comply properly the typified regulations in TULAS (Unified Text on Subsidiary Legislation of the Ministry of the Environment). There is an organizational chart but there is no a cross-functional flowchart. Therefore, it makes the staff difficult to distinguish properly the functions that have to carry out. In addition, the agronomic waste is stored in poor environmental conditions. The water discharge goes to the rivers with no pre-treatment. Finally, this study with regard to an environmental impact assessment contains the conclusions and recommendations that have to be taken into account for the “Flores Santa Mónica” Company. |
