| Zusammenfassung: | This study gathers information to evaluate the infrastructure of general public lighting (APG) of the Provincial electric company Cotopaxi - ELEPCO SA, to establish improvement plans and migrate from high pressure sodium technology to LED, as well as the total replacement of lamps. of mercury. In the last decade, each energy distributor has managed a record of the assets related to the distribution area through the ArcGIS Software, this is how an updated base has been built from 2012 to 2021, allowing the analysis of the number of luminaires, types and installed power in each corner of the province of Cotopaxi, information that was processed by Canton and year of installation in order to estimate energy consumption, forecasts are made using the Holt-Winters estimation model in the short, medium and long term, with errors less than 4%. When establishing the base scenarios, possible cases of consumption are analyzed, possibilities of improvement in the APG infrastructure in rural areas and a migration to LED lamps in urban areas such as: main roads, parks, residential areas, secondary accesses and historical centers of different localities; The improvement proposals are presented as individual projects that are evaluated to determine their technical, economic and financial viability, and through the use of a calculation tool, the possible daily consumption is estimated based on the pedestrian and/or vehicular influx, in addition, energy savings are expected in the short, medium and long term of 2.76%, 2.32% and 1.67% respectively, indicating the feasibility of remote management in the energy matrix of public lighting in Cotopaxi. |
