Inventario Florístico (arbóreo) en el Bosque Siempreverde Montano Bajo de la Cordillera Occidental de los Andes, sector La Esperanza, cantón Pujilí, Provincia de Cotopaxi.

The investigation has the purpose of carrying out the floristic inventory (arboreal) in the "Siempreverde Montano Bajo" forest which is placed at Wester of Andes Mountains Range in la Esperanza Sector; which is located on the altitudinal floor from 1400 to 2000 msnm; in this place, it was determined the existence of variability of floristic diversity with relationship to other altitudinal floors, in this area was planned a smallholding of 5000 m, its borders were determined by a rope and indicated by a tape of marking. Inside the smallholding, the researcher collected, identified, tabulated, measured and documented all the individuals with a diameter at the height of the Chest (DAP) equal or superior to 30 cm measured up to a metric tape and later to be divided for Pi's value (Π π). This investigation has a significant role in decision-making at managing, conservation, and recovery of the forest; so the floristic composition was known, current condition of the forest, the use of the identified species in order that, the community from the sector could get ready to future in terms of plans, programs and projects that allow changing their lifestyle due to a natural resources integrated managing, where human being and nature, both are in balance. The investigative work shows the current condition of the floristic composition of the endemic forest of la Esperanza; specifically, in the study sector, there was stated like a zone controlled by human being´s hand, with own diverse species of the previous sector, indicating the individual value of use from the species, giving a significant importance to the area and its ecosystem.
