Özet:The purpose of this research is to observe the effect of advanced agriculture on the composition of entomofauna (micro fauna). The research site was in Transect No. 8 part A (forest) Canton Pujilí, Province Cotopaxi, 2016.For this, the area of study and data collection with the GPS as well as its delimitation with the points were recognized, where the total area of the sector was divided into points, whose area is one hectare and that is located in the Coordinates Length: 73 ° 5'4.781 ''S, Latitude: 0 ° 59'16.923''W, and an altitude of 1970 m.a.s. The objectives of the project are: to know the diversity and abundance of the entomofauna of the La Esperanza parish in Canton Pujilí. Where there was a gathering at ground level with fall traps, this type of traps are the most suitable in the sector as well as its revision and collection of traps every 48 hours as in previous ones where the types of insects present inside the object of study were obtained and later proceed to the identification and classification of the samples in the entomology laboratory at TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF COTOPAXI, through the use of dichotomous keys, for later conservation. The next step was the calculation of the results obtained where we will detail the abundance and diversity of insects in the study area, applying the Shannon-Wiener formula. Applying this type of methodology it is advisable to make a field survey, with aerial photographs of vegetative formation maps of the sector. In the study area, diversity will be evaluated. The Shannon-Wiener transect method allows us to know the plant diversity, floristic composition and dominant species
