| סיכום: | The “Chicken Farm” microenterprise located in the city of Machachi, Mejía canton, Pichincha Province, carries out chicken plucking activities. The company has a daily dining aqrea, with a water system heated by a water heater that works with liquefied petroleum gas - butane (LPG). The energy demand when it is used constantly is high, therefore the requirement of domestic hot water (DHW) is necessary. The design and dimensioning of a water heating system with a thermal solar collector that is made up of its storage tank and thermal solar panel is analyzed, this collector will function as a secondary renewable energy system and will work independently, giving support to the existing main system consisting of a LPG heater. This work aimed to optimize energy consumption through the solar thermal collector, reducing the use of fossil energy required by the water heater, producing energy and economic savings. For this, the modeling of the collector system was performed, which was analyzed by finite elements through the Ansys software with the thermal analysis module, obtaining as a result that the temperature on the external surface of the copper pipe is 40.39 ° C. Likewise, it was obtained from calculations the internal temperature of the surface of the copper pipe is 40.38 ° C, water temperature at the exit of the same of 26.04 ° C and the performance of the solar thermal collector It reflects 22.8%. In addition, it was determined that this system can maintain an energy saving of 92.24% and an average economic saving of USD 1,23 per month. |
