Description
Summary:Within present research work was made a 8,784 analysis provided data by the Cotopaxi Higher Technological Institute, through which were simulated a hybrid solar-wind system, whose was dimensioned by using Matlab Ra 2020 and PVsyst 7.2, for later, it is compared with the Homer Pro 3.14.2 simulator. For wind system analysis was used two simulators (WROPLOT 8.0.2 and Matlab Ra 2020), the first one indicates the wind rose, what shows the direction, which is directed the wind, with Matlab Ra 2020, it was analyzed the Weibull distribution to find out how often a wind speed is repeated into a given hour, further, knowing the existing electricity amount into area with an 884 [kWh/year] value and distances, what it is located one wind turbine from the other. Through the PVsyst 7.2 simulator was dimensioned the photovoltaic system for this simulation, it was necessary to know the azimuth angle, which refers to the photovoltaic panels inclination. With the simulator help was got 26 panels in series and 345 panels into parallel, what will have were got the photovoltaic park, as well as, the different distances, which is located each one and an 6 [GWh/year] electrical energy amount, what arrives to be generated into sector. The Homer Pro 3.14.2 simulator determined the electrical energy supplied by the solar-wind hybrid system with an 6,126,060 [kWh/year] amount, the got data from different simulated systems arre compared and it is appreciated, which they have similarity with respect to the got results in the simulator. Finally, it was made the economic technical assessment, in order to determine the initial investment value, what is $3,655,570.61 that was needed to build the hybrid solar-wind plant, as well as, to identify the NPV parameters with an $1,974,045.15, IRR amount with a 17.39% value and a initial investment return period in the 7 year, further to make a summary table, which issued the results by each of simulations.
