Περίληψη:In the research carried out on recreational activities, to strengthen spatial structuring, in children of Initial Education II, carried out at the ''United Nations'' Basic Education School of the Saquisilí Canton, the problem was that the majority Part of children do not have a correct spatial structuring, affecting areas such as laterality, body schema, temporal-spatial structuring, among others, because teachers do not make use of recreational activities when imparting knowledge. The objective of the work was to strengthen spatial structuring, through recreational activities, in Preschool II children. Regarding the methodology, we worked with a non-experimental design, a qualitative approach, a type of bibliographic and field research. While the pedagogical approach that was considered was constructivist and the game-work methodology. For this reason, recreational activities were proposed for the development of spatial structuring, which have objectives, area, estimated time, age group, materials, procedure and evaluation instrument for correct application. Consequently, the proposal was validated by experts and users, who, through their knowledge and experiences, declared it to be excellent since it can be applied inside and outside the classroom. In the same way, it was possible to apply the activities in the Private Educational Unit "Británico los Andes" where the majority of children managed to successfully complete the proposed activities, thus only 2 of the 12 children had difficulties in terms of correct execution of the activity. Finally, it is concluded that recreational activities help strengthen spatial structuring, since it is a dynamic way of imparting knowledge and relating it to that already acquired.
