Sumari:The research carried out started from the following problem: How to prepare families to fulfill the educational responsibility they have before their children, the school and society? In order to solve the problem, the general objective is: To develop a system of orientation workshops for the preparation of the family in terms of its shared educational responsibility with the school. From a mixed approach and an applied type of research, theoretical level methods were used (historical, analytical - synthetic, induction, deduction, and systemic); the empirical level (interview, survey and specialist criteria) and the statistical level (descriptive statistics, percentage calculation and inferential statistics). Arriving at the following conclusions: The theoretical study allowed us to verify that the preparation of the family constitutes a challenge for the school and society, since it is not prepared to fulfill its educational responsibility; the proposal of a system of workshops for the preparation of the family, is based on the historical-cultural conception and the system approach, in theoretical and practical planes; the system of workshops that is proposed, becomes an option for the preparation of the family to fulfill its educational responsibility and the results obtained as part of the final verification allow the author to solve the problem that gave rise to the investigation and assert that the workshop system facilitates the preparation of the family.
