Тойм:The solid waste generated each day is increasing since the population is expanding too, and they must satisfy their food demands, which is the principal cause of polluting solid waste, because of the plastic industries, automotive oil containers, and others. The ASOSERMANGUI association, located in La Maná canton, contains about seventeen commercial partners, so the daily collection of waste is abundant concerning to the PET material from bottled water and beverages. These PET materials are difficult to maneuver due to their structure, and some of them cannot be sold, without being aware that they are losing significant profits day by day. Therefore, it is intended to devise a design for an automated waste compactor for the association, taking into consideration that a waste compactor is a powerful machine whose essential function is to compress the waste that enters, making it smaller and allowing the entry of more waste. (Recytrans, 2014). For this investigation, necessary calculations will be implemented to design the hydraulic PET waste compactor creating bales of 1m x 0.80m x 0.70m, all of this driven by a single-phase and two-phase motor of 110V at 10A and 220 at 20A, with 5 HP of power and energy efficiency of 0.90%.
