In this way it was possible to analyze the level of knowledge of the teachers of the institution aboutLa presente investigación se enfocó en el análisis de la gestión del docente frente a la interculturalidad, conociendo que la población educativa se encuentra compuesta por una amplia gama de diversidad cultural debido a los factores sociales, económicos políticos, religiosos, entre otros que obligan a las familias a migrar hacia lugares diferentes a los de su procedencia, lo cual demanda del proceso educativo una perspectiva interculturalidad que respete, valore y aproveche esta diversidad para la formación integral de todo el alumnado. Para ello, se aplicó un enfoque metodológico de tipo cuantitativo, con un diseño investigativo no experimental a través de la aplicación de la observación directa y encuestas a los docentes de la Escuela Fiscal “Gustavo Iturralde” de la Parroquia de Tanicuchi durante el año lectivo 2018-2019. De esta forma se pudo analizar el nivel de conocimiento de los docentes de la institución acerca de la interculturalidad, identificando que los docentes reconocen la existencia de la interculturalidad en el aula, no obstante, no se aplican estrategias que permitan difundir y valorar las diferencias culturales de los distintos grupos que confluyen cotidianamente en la institución.
