Afegir etiqueta | Sumari: | The present research work was carried out in La Laguna Nautical Park in the parish of Ignacio Flores in the canton of Latacunga, province of Cotopaxi. The main objective was to identify which plant species are found in the park, in order to obtain evidence in the form of an inventory, a botanical collection and a graphic memory of these species for research that has been carried out in the area of urban parks and green areas of Latacunga. The type of research that was used for the recognition of species was field research where information and plant material was collected, then the literature review was used to search, data processing and collection of information obtained, the descriptive research allowed to describe systematically the family, genus and species of plants. The methodology for the herborization process was proposed by (Ricker, 2019) in his "Manual for botanical collections". In the results, 27 species were recognized; Acacia melanoxylo, Agapanthud praecox, Alnus acuminata, Callistemon citrinus, Carpobrotus edulis, Casuarina cunninghamiana, Crinum moorei, Cupressus macrocarpa, Eucalyptus viminalis, Eucalyptus viminalis , Felicia amelloides, Fraxinus excelsior, Fraxinus uhdei, Gazania rigens, Genista monspessulana, Hebe andersonii, Hebe franciscana, Hemerocallis lilioasphodelus, Lantana Viburnoides, Melaleuca ericifolia, Phoenix canariensis, Platycladus orientalis, Populus alba, Populus nigra, Salix humboldtiana, Schinus molle, Tecoma stans and Tilia platyphyllos Scop.
