With this information about different kinds of blenders in the market were investigated; selecting the helical screw mixer as it is the best suited to mix granulated powders. The machine is constituted by the feeding system and the mixer. The loading system is where the raw material enters to be mixed while the mixing system is formed by an axis coupled by two helicoidally screws baroladas in circular and left-handed that facilitates the transport of the material and the mixture. This system is supported on two chains with bearings called wall bearings. The power transmission system of the mixer consists of a 5HP motor coupled directly to a 3-inch pulley and aligned to a 4-inch pulley attached to the speed reducer through two tensioning bands. A 12-tooth sprocket is connected to the output channel of the speed reducer that connects to another 40-tooth sprocket through a transmission chain, which is attached to the transmission tube that supports the propellers that cause the product to be mixed at a constant speed (30 rpm) that is obtained from the speed reducer. After the machine was implemented, "ash" laboratory tests were carried out to guarantee the homogeneity of the product obtained; the results of the tests determined that after 3 minutes a homogeneous mixture is obtained in the balanced. |

After the machine was implemented, "ash" laboratory tests were carried out to guarantee the homogeneity of the product obtained; the results of the tests determined that after 3 minutes a homogeneous mixture is obtained in the balanced.El presente trabajo desarrollado, se enfoca ayudar a la microempresa “San Nicolás” en el diseño y construcción de la maquina mezcladora para la elaboración de balanceado para aves, puesto que esta actividad se lo realizaba de forma manual, lo que implicaba tener a una persona dedicada exclusivamente a esta actividad por largos periodos de tiempo; una de las principales razones por que se planteó esta investigación de reducir el tiempo de mezclado, para ello se consideró una capacidad máxima de 500 Kg. Con esta información se investigó los distintos tipos de mezcladoras existentes en el mercado; seleccionando la mezcladora de hélices helicoidales por ser la más apta para mezclar polvos granulados. La máquina está constituida por el sistema de alimentación y el mezclador. El sistema de carga es por donde ingresa la materia prima para ser mezclada mientras tanto el sistema mezclador está conformado por un eje acoplado por dos hélices helicoidales baroladas en sentido horario y antihorario que facilita el transporte del material y la mezcla del mismo. Este sistema está apoyado sobre dos soportes con rodamientos llamados chumaceras de pared. El sistema de transmisión de potencia de la mezcladora consta de un motor de 5HP acoplado directamente a una polea de 3 pulgadas y alineada a otra de 4 pulgadas unida al reductor de velocidad a través de dos bandas tensoras. Al eje de salida del reductor de velocidad esta acoplado una catalina de 12 dientes que a través de una cadena de transmisión conecta con otra catalina de 40 dientes, la cual está unida al eje de transmisión que sostenida las hélices que hacen que el producto sea mezclado a una velocidad constantes (30 rpm) que se obtiene del reductor de velocidad.
