總結:This research aimed to quantify the levels of noise based on mapping at the Pujilí Canton fairs, which allowed the researcher to know the problems that this generates to the environment and; therefore, the degree of comfort and quality of life of its inhabitants. The noise produced at the fairs of the Pujilí Canton was monitored on Sundays during daylight hours, determining two study areas, which were proposed by using grid stroke over the study area according to its geographical delimitation. Hours of increased influx of people and peak hours were taken into account to determine the points and time of monitoring environmental noise, thus establishing 4 times for sampling at the first fair ("Mercado Cerrado y canchas Augusto Lema- MCCAL") and 5 times for the second fair ("Plaza Sucre-PLS"). Sound pressure levels were determined with an integrative sonometer, and the measurement time was 40 minutes per 10 points in the first study area (MCCAL) and 48 minutes for 12 points for the second study area (PLS) due to the selected schedule. The recorded values from the environmental noise assessment were compared to the current environmental regulations of Ministerial Agreement 097-A, Annex 5 (Maximum Noise Emission Levels, and Methodology of Measurement of Fixed Sources and Mobile Sources), Table 1.
